Nelson's VH Heating Panels are suitable for installation on metallic tanks and vessels for freeze protection or process temperature maintenance up to 175°F. Any number of heating panels can be installed on a single tank and connected in parallel or series to minimize electrical distribution requirements. 

For applications in which the fluid may drop below the level of the heating panel, a dual thermostat arrangement is recommended. One sensor is installed on the tank to provide temperature control while the second is installed on the surface of the highest mounted heating panel acting as a high temperature cutout switch to protect the heater from abnormal conditions.
